Thank you to Tara Irons, PhilanthroCorp for bringing Alyssa Lee, City of Colorado Springs as our presenter today. 

Alyssa Lee is a Senior Buyer for the City of Colorado Springs. She shared an overview of how to do business with the City covering what annual City spending looks like; the types of contracts/services/materials they procure; how to find business opportunities; how to interpret City solicitations and proposal requirements and how to become an “approved vendor.”

At today’s board of director’s meeting, the board:

Elected Chris Waldron, Waldrons Family Studio, as president

Elected John Gatto, Crestone Development, as vice president

Elected Michael Garrow, Garden of the Gods Club, as secretary.

Diana Thate, Payroll City, will continue on as treasurer through June 2024.

 

Opened the category of ‘Plumber’ for Pilar Chavarria, the Happy Plumber.  Pilar is sponsored by Paul Hasty, Tint Technologies.

 

Approved a change in membership where David Perez is now the Primary member for Waste Management, replacing Michael Dalton.

  1. The Fly Fishing Film tour will be in COS at the Stargazers Theatre on February 3rd. Congratulations to the U of Michigan’s Football Team winning the National College Football Championship in Houston Monday night.  Both of my boys went to the U of Michigan and went to the game Monday night.
