About Me
Grew up a Western Kansas girl. Moved to Colorado Springs in 1983. Was a professional musician and traveled throughout the country until 1989 when my partner and I bought a small deli called The Picnic Basket. We had $300 each to start and bought the business over four years at no interest. We now employ over 100 employees and have survived 36 years in the catering business. The stuff American dreams are made of ;-). Love the outdoors, my sidekick Rudy the red lab, and my two precious grandchildren Landon and Molly. I feel truly blessed everyday to be part of this beautiful, awesome community of Colorado Springs.

We serve the Pikes Peak Region and the Front Range with three distinctly different divisions: Picnic Basket Catering, Buffalo Gals Grilling Co., and Cravings 5 Star Events, we can cover any event from a small corporate lunch or breakfast to very large events with rentals, serving staff, bar and entertainment.
