Thank you, Brenda, for your wonderful presentation on your sailing trip!
Brenda shared her tale of what it was like to be a sailor, sailing across the ocean from Sint Maarten to Mallorea. She had lots of great photos and some comical stories!

Please note, Simon Penner with Miramont Commercial has dropped his membership (sadly!). Please make note of it.
We are in need of a presenter for next week. I have a call into someone but as of now have not heard back from him. If you would like to fill the slot and seize the opportunity, please let me know ASAP!
There will be a board of directors meeting after next week’s breakfast.

BUSINESS INFORMATION (information pertaining to members’ businesses):
- Ute Pass Gardens is growing. Lots of interest from many local restaurants. Ute Pass Gardens will soon be a member of the BBB. (KEVIN HOLT)
- Compost could be coming soon to the area. Also, landfills are using hyper local weather forecasting. This helps control odor, mostly keeping neighbors happy! (DAVID PEREZ)
- We have the best prices of the year on patio furniture at Christy Sports. Ski gear is coming soon. (MIKE LLOYD)
- We had an advanced French tasting class last night. We had a master sommelier, who is a good friend of ours, conduct the class. He was awesome. We do classes on wine and spirits at least twice a month. Our next one is a scotch tasting. Go to our website or check Facebook to find out about the classes. - If anyone is interested in helping educate Greccio residents on financial stability, let me know. (DANA ROCHA)
- October 2nd and 4th we will conduct a leadership workshop for the Surgeon General and his staff at the Pentagon. A 20-year process from the Academy here to the top of the chain of command. (NANCY KELLY)
- Annual police and fire match is this Saturday following the Switchbacks match. Support our local first responders. Limited tickets left. (JON TAYLOR)

- The Greenberg Center for Learning and Tolerance is presenting a program on September 20th at Colorado College, Celeste Theatre, 825 N. Cascade. Remembering For The Future: The Holocaust, uniting against hate and building a more compassionate tomorrow with Father John Pawlikowski who was on the original board to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC, appointed by four presidents and he worked with Holocaust survivor, Elie Wiesel to make the museum a reality. He presently has an appointment to the United Nations in DC. Meet Father at the dessert reception following his talk with a Q&A. We are also proud to have Scott Levin, ADL Mountain States Regional Director as our speaker too. Doors open at 6pm, program starts at 6:30pm.
