Notes from your executive director:

At this month’s board meeting, the board:

Opened the category of ‘Country Club’ for Michael Garrow, Garden of the Gods Club.  Michael is sponsored by Eddie Hurt, the Blessing Hurt team at ERA Shields.  Should you know of another country club who might like to compete for the category, please bring them as a guest.  As always, it is the intention of Execs to bring in the best in class in each category.

NO MEETING NEXT WEEK, JULY 5, DUE TO EL PASO CLUB KITCHEN CLOSURE/CONSTRUCTION WORK.

At today’s annual meeting, the following members were elected to serve on our next board:

Chris Waldron, Waldron’s Family Studio

Stephanie Horton, KCME

Todd Matia, Harvey Investment Management

Diana Thate, Payroll City

Thank you to all who ran but were not (yet!) elected.  I appreciate your willingness to have served by simply running.  Every 6 mos., half our board changes so it is likely that all will eventually serve if willing!  If you ever want to run, PLEASE let me know.  I can let the nominating committee know you are interested with the committee meets!

There will be a board meeting after the July 12 breakfast meeting for both incoming and outgoing board members!
