Since no candidate in the Colorado Springs Mayoral Election received 50% of the votes, we have a runoff with the top candidates,  Yemi Mobolade and Wayne Williams.  Come hear these gentlemen share their vision for our city to help you decide for whom you will vote in the May 16th runoff election.  This is an important vote as each of these men will chart a different course for our city for the next 4 years.  Invite your friends and neighbors to attend this historic Rotary Club meeting. The Rotary Board agreed to open our April 21st event to other clubs and organizations.  We’re including the other 7 Colorado Springs based Rotary clubs, but also invited members of Lions, Sertoma, Kiwanis, Winter Night Club, CSLI, Colorado Springs Executives Association, Rising Stars, Colorado Springs Young Professionals, Leadership Pikes Peak, the Black, Hispanic, and Women’s Chambers.  The registration link is here: https://portal.clubrunner.ca/3250/speakers/b8404afc-5e77-4ebb-ad6d-d4759610ef3b Register by April 17th or before the event sells out. 1. Dear Friends, We wanted to let you know that we’ve confirmed a date and place for the celebration. It IS in May, Mama and Daddy’s birthday month… just squeaking in on Tuesday, May 30, at 2 p.m.!  We’re incredibly fortunate that our location will be the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, a place that was so important to our parents and to us. Thanks so much for all of the help of Maria Capp — memories came flooding in as we stood in the Mashburn/Marshall Tactile Gallery, and in the spaces where many wonderful FAC openings and Imagination Celebration kickoffs happened.  More details to come, but we hope you will be able to join us, and please spread the word among friends of Mary and Wayne who we may not have on this list (and feel free to forward email addresses to us as well…).  Thank you for all your kindnesses and notes — so helpful during this difficult time as we work on moving forward, Mary and Melissa Mashburn, mgmaryland@gmail.com, 443-629-0128.  (MARY & MELISSA MASHBURN)
