Thank you to Dan Adam, Adam and Son, for today’s presentation on his journey from being a minimum wage employee changing oil at a local auto repair shop to operating a successful Social Impact business with two locations, 22 employees and growing. He shared how having a social impact has allowed his company to stand out from the competition, create raving fans, and attracting and retaining talent.

John Gatto– Tyler Walters (Best Western Fillmore Inn), Samantha Hendricks (Fillmore Pizza Kitchen)
Tammy Fogall– Dana Rocha, Greccio Housing
Dan Adam– Cole Dougherty and Sue Anselmi

Jessy Van Dyne-March 3

DOORPRIZE: Congrats to Todd Matia who won the oil change gift certificates from Adam & Son, one for himself, one to give away to someone in need.

Notes from your executive director:
At last month’s board meeting, the board opened the classification of ‘Hotel’ for Tyler Walters, Best Western, Fillmore Inn.  Tyler is sponsored by John Gatto. They also opened, ‘Employee Benefits’ for Benjamin Wojchik, USI Insurance Solutions. Benjamin is sponsored by JP West.  Should you know of any qualified, best in class companies who might like to compete for these categories, please bring them as a guest between now and March 8.  All interviews will take place on March 8 and the board will vote on this day as well.
There will be a board of directors meeting after next week’s breakfast.
Have you looked at our website lately?!  I have been working closely with Infront to tweak some things in the Word Press template!  Check out Brooke Orist’s/Sasquatch Cookies!  Or Todd Matia’s….they both did an exceptional job completing all the fields which makes our site content much more rich!  Please log on and update things to freshen up your profile if you haven’t done so!
A BIG thank you to Brenda Speer who helped me create an FAQ page on our website.  It is full of content we believe you will find helpful and is a great refresher for all members!  Check it out here.
Please note, Integrity Device Repair/Michael Peltier, has dropped his membership.
